For 2024, I made a 4-point nude years resolution. Lets see how it went. -One Organization I resolved to join one nudist organization. This one was easy. In early January I joined AANR. I havent done many things in the organization, but I joined. I read the newsletter. I got their discount on some things I did. I became a card-carrying nudist. -One Resort I resolved to go to at least one nude resort in 2024. In May a friend took me camping at The Woods in Pennsylvania. It was cold and rainy much of the time, but I did get a little bit of outdoor public Nude time. In June I took my tent to Avalon in West Virginia. I spent a full 24 hours naked, hiked in the woods, swam in the pools, and met some people who have become great friends. It became my new favorite spot in the East and I have returned a half-dozen times since. While traveling in July, I spent a couple nights at Orvis Hot Springs in Colorado. I got to float naked under the stars in a natural hot spring on a moonless night. And in August, I spent part of a day at MAHESO in Maryland with a friend, enjoying the fresh air and sitting in the shade on a sunny day. -One Event I resolved to participate in a nude event. I was thinking of something like the World Naked Bike Ride or Naked in a Cave. I didnt do a big event like that, but I did participate in several smaller ones, all of which were new to me. I accepted an invitation for a naked dinner with some guys. I joined some group meet-ups a KSpa. I attended a nude dinner at Avalon. And I splashed naked in the Colorado River on World Skinny Dip Day, though I was by myself when I did. None of these were like the big events I imagined when I wrote the resolution, but they were much bigger nude events than I had ever done before. -One Beach Gunnison? Blacks? No. But a friend and I skinny dipped and got some all-over sun on a sandy alcove on the Colorado River where hippies in the 60s and 70s gathered for their natural swimming. It may be the tiniest of beaches, but it was a beach nonetheless. I want to do a big beach someday, but this was enough to claim a small success. So thats how it went. Stay tuned for plans for 2025. And Happy Nude Year to YOU!
