On November 3, my mother, age 93, passed away after suffering a stroke in June. While working on the arrangements, the following came to me. It has brought me great comfort. Weep not for me, oh my children. For I am now free from the chains of pain That bound me and held me still, I now fly as if I had Eagles wings, No longer confined, And all according to Gods will. I am in a better place, Where there is boundless love, peace and joy. And I sit alongside my loved ones who have gone before. And with He who had saved me, joy all the more. Weep not for me, oh my children. For as I look down at you from above I am sending you my never-ending love. And as God looks down upon you as well, He is sending you His Peace, Love, and Comfort, From His overflowing well. Weep not for me, oh children of God. For I have seen His face and it is one of love. This day He comes down from His throne high above, To share His Peace, His Comfort, His Kingdom, And His Love. Weep not for me, but rejoice! For this was Gods choice. And He has welcomed me with outstretched arms. And to Him, I am bound. As He has given me, my golden crown.
