Furthermore, with global warming and rising temperatures, it just makes sense to be naked. However, nudism is not about titillation and cheap thrills.Nudists believe in personal freedom and the right to be comfortable in their own skin. We nudists are the ultimate c'est la vie people. We don't like it when others try to shove their beliefs on us and so its up to us not to shove our beliefs on them. Confrontations never solve anything, compromises do.Being c'est la vie people, we compromise all the time - just because our naked bodies offend you, we wear clothes so that you don't have to close your eyes.And so it irritates us when we see someone giving nudism a bad name.And that is precisely what some people are doing.Just a few months ago, some people decided to streak through Machu Pichu.Then some professional photo people thought it a good idea to get a model to pose topless in Angkor Vat. The locals naturally got royally pissed at these activities.The only thing these kinds of activities achieve is to give nudism a bad name. It makes entire communities anti-nudists and brings forth legislations throwing nudists in jail. These people are not genuine nudists. They are just going for cheap temporary thrills and escapades.Furthermore, these acts also smack of racism. The flashers did not care that their act could hurt people. Moreover they chose poor countries and liberal people to offend. They chose the "brown" people.They did not flash at the White House or at Vatican City or the Imperial City at Beijing or at Saudi Arabia, knowing fully well that the consequences and repercussions for that would be catastrophic. Instead they chose the poor, with the arrogance that comes from having loads of money. The world needs to be naked, but until it does, we have to live with the clothed folks without pissing them off. The world is huge and there are lots of places to get naked (even apart from homes), there is absolutely no need to do so at religious places.Not for cheap titilating escapades anyway.There is a time and a place for everything.
