A Time To Reflect

As we scatter you ashes into the wind,we have time to reflect on your life. You were a son to some, a brother to others,but to all whose lives you touched with your presence you were a friend. Although you were with us for just a short time,we grew to love you so. Now you walk only in our hearts and minds,but those memories are precious to all. For now we have to say good-bye,but someday we will meet again. So now, our final prayer is that you are at peace,and you are no longer in pain. Our lives are fuller for having known you,and for a short while the world was a better [place. Thank you for being a son, a brother, but most of all a friend,for us you will live forever. I wrote this after my little brother died at the age of 29 almost 25 years ago.I hope you like it
