Baffled by Profile's

The problem I have in TN is the limit some members place on their profiles. TN is a platform that promotes the acceptance of nudity. The world around us is up tight when it comes to the natural state of the human being, and some of this seems to have invaded our profiles. It baffles me, that a person would restrict photos to "friends only". Why be on TN, a nudist group, and then restrict the expression of nudity to a limited number of people. The only way left to generate interest in a person is "the profile". A limited profile promotes no interest. Without additional information, and not just an expressed interest in the nude lifestyle, why bother? I know of your interest in nudity, or you wouldn't have joined TN. I have seen profiles that restrict photos but express the desire to share their interest in nudity with others. Surely our interest includes activities that may, or not, be related directly with nudity, or practiced while nude. What are they? Those interest and activities are of interest to others also. A statement "others with the same interest" without a detailed profile defining those activities, ideas, does not inspire interest. I want to associate with people that have the same ideas, opinions, interest (plural) that I have. Without a more descriptive "profile" there is no enticement to seek a friend request. Another thing that baffles me is the accumulation of a large number of fiends. That sounds more like a convention, not a friendship. I think a friend is a person that you have a dialog with. Even a simple "How are you?" or "hello" on occasion. I had a Design and Drafting group of 125 people. I would have liked to spent10 minutes with each one. Those 10 minutes would amount to 12,500 minutes, 20.8 hours. To do this with only 6 friends would take an hour. How many friends can we really say are friends? I am not suggesting we each only have 6 friends, and I have more. To me, friendship means communication, at least once in a while. Even in retirement, there are other things that demand part of our time and to some extent, limit our time on TN. I have no wish to demean anyone. We are all the same, but different. We can agree or disagree and that is as it should be. Accept what works for you and throw away the rest. God Bless!
