Batik, Traditional Cloths from Indonesia

Indonesia consists from many cultures. And because of consists of many cultures, there are a lot of traditional thing that belongs to Indonesia. One of the traditional things that still exist nowadays is batik. Batik is Indonesian traditional cloths. There two types of batik, there are stamp batik and hand-writing batik. Hand-writing batik is usually more expensive than the stamp batik, because it was made in very traditional way. Batik has many designs. There are Javanese batik (Solo, Jogjakarta, Sunda and Baduy), there are Sumatera batik (Batak, or usually called Ulos, and Lampung), Balinese batik, even Papua has its own batik. Each of them has different looks. Here, I want to show two of them, Sunda and Baduy batik. Sunda and Baduy lie in the western part of Java Island, but Baduy is more traditional than Sunda. Some of them still live in the jungle. Batik cloth usually used for clothes, or for traditional head-band. If you come to Indonesia, dont forget to buy batik.
