In the singing worship, I experienced New Eden like in my dream, and realized that new Eden is always around us and me. I was overwhelmed by the beauty and joy I experienced. I say that instead of felt because it wasn't just an emotion or sensation, but something experienced by all of me down to my very spiritual core. I stumbled across a blog this morning before church called Bare to Bush. It is so controversial but I like it because it is so real and honest. Raw really. It makes me think and rethink about how this world would be if nude humans real humans were accepted as normal and nothing out of the ordinary as much as photoshopped and commercial images are seen. Some questions come to mind. Would the textile industry collapse? I imagine that the bra and swimwear industry would all but fade away if everyone stopped thinking they needed those pieces. Would new inventions and industries pop up? Sunscreen and towels are a staple in the nude life. Would depression and body image psychological "diseases" have a major decline even to the point of being uncommon? Would suicides decline to being nearly nonexistent at least ones tied to body image, depression, and malnutrition of eating issues? Do the majority fight being natural and nude because of this fear from losing money in the economy based in textile and cosmetic industries? Are those industries the ones behind perpetuating the discouragement of natural/nude living (maybe even more than tradition and church influence)? I think this could be part of the root of the issue. I believe God brought me to naturism for my own good and for the good of others. He dropped, "what is nudist philosophy?" In my mind and it has been a journey of my whole being! Not just a spiritual journey as most think God wants them to have, but a journey of every part of me because God made EVERYTHING in existence. He does not feed only our spirit but also our body. He wants a relationship with each of us, not just in prayer time or at church. Not just as a teacher or brother or ruler. But as all of those things! And in EVERY PART of our lives (including when a woman has her menstrual period or a man is struggling with his body image, a little boy wondering why his mommy tells him to shut the door when he is getting dressed, a little girl staring at a magazine picking out parts she thinks she is supposed to look like and never will). Neglecting our bodies while putting in energy for our minds and houses, jobs, relationships and bank accounts, also our spirits, is a gross oversight. It's like shaving and cutting a tree to make it look like a different tree and not appreciating it's unique beauty and encouraging it to grow as it's seed blueprint says it should be,spending money and energy on something that doesn't need it. Most would say that doing THAT is ridiculous, wouldn't they? Naturism is from God and not satan because it brings blessing and love and beauty. Satan fights it because it is something of beauty and love which is from God. Satan hates all that is good for it is all from God. He wanted to BE God and was cast out of paradise for it. God creates. God brings life. God gives beauty love and joy. Satan destroys. Satan brings death. Satan gives desolation hate and despair. In becoming open to myself in all that God created, I have opened myself also to attack from Satan. I am open to life and beauty and love, joy. I then also must be ready to defend that against the death and desolation and hate, despair that will come to tear me apart. I think some people are not ready or willing to be in the place that I am. And I do not think that anyone should be forced or pressured into that place, but should be encouraged and educated and able to discover it. They should not be shamed and bashed for exploring ideas and thoughts, hopeful thinking and new ways of living. They should be lovingly and compassionately walked along side with in their journey and discovery.
