Close Friend Is A Nudist? What?

I was super excited to receive an email from one of my friends the other day. She lives on the west coast and is one of my closest confidants. She is also one of the people I first told about me being a nudist. Anyway, as I was reading her email she was talking about one of her friends upcoming wedding. In the middle of a sentence, literally out of the blue, she told me she went to a nudist retreat! She wrote how they were attending a winery and then later played volleyball in the pool at Desert Sun. What! Stop! Reverse! I stopped reading and immediately texted her about her recent email. She told me that she has been going there for a while. She said her and one of her friends tried it a couple of years ago after I told her about the place. In the two years of her going there and the twenty-five years of our friendship, she never told me once she was a nudist at heart. She is one of the people that was always willing to go with me when I wanted to go to a nude beach or resort. Other than when we went as friends, I never knew she loved it as much as she does. I respect her madly and I remember the first time we went together to a nude beach. It was about six years ago when she was visiting me in Florida. She knew I loved the nudist lifestyle and it came up in conversation. I asked if she ever tried it and she didnt say no, but now that I look back she was kind of evasive during the conversation. Anyway, before we decided to go, I thought it might be best if we gave it a try in my backyard first to see if she would be comfortable with it. So, in front of each other we shed our clothes, grabbed a bottle of wine and headed out back. She seemed quite relaxed with all of it and going to the beach didnt seem to bother her either. In fact, she was the first to strip down at the beach. I guess you just never know, we nudists are everywhere. I cant wait to see her early next year. She is planning on coming to Florida next March for a vacation. I am sure with all my heart we will end up at a resort or beach somewhere. I promise you this topic will come up in conversation about her loving the lifestyle but never telling me, lol. Then again, I understand. At one time, I was not open and free about me either. To tell people or not is a personal choice. It really is nobodys business, but your own. I am so glad she enjoys the lifestyle and who knows maybe more of my friends love it too.
