Cobblers Today - 18-4-14

What a wonderful day at Cobblers today, lots of fine warm weather right through to 5pm. The beach was packed with lots of couples, a couple of families, quite a few single ladies and a lot of single guys enjoying catching up with old friends and a few new ones. Plenty of social action with groups of people in discussions all afternoon both in and out of the water, as well as the usual light and friendly banter back and forth between the various groups. Everyone enjoying themselves in a really friendly environment and idyllic location. The grassed area was also well populated by people who prefer the grass and the ants over the sand, rocks and the seagulls. Most people from both groups enjoy a paddle in the shallows or a swim. There was a bit of a swell this afternoon, something we had not experienced recently, the water was quite muddy, not its usual clear self, making it impossible to see the bottom in all but the shallowest water. The water was also a bit cool, great for reducing swelling and pain in joints and other parts of the body. Just think, the weather forecast for the next three days is similar to today so there is time for a first visit during the Easter period or maybe another visit
