Derby Day at Cedar Creek

Last Saturday Ive been to Cedar Creek for the Derby Day and the day started off really great starting with everyone hanging in the pool despite the gloomy weather, even though its Summer the day was chilly due to the frequent intermittent rain. I was talking to Rick who had a huge knowledge working on different projects and domains with no college degree, it was great to learn new technology and technical topics from him. We played pool volleyball and almost everyone got into the pool. Jeff did a great job in pulling everyone in the pool and special mentions to his grand gesture offering his Jeff juice to everyone. Later we all got into the hot tub and had good time which was definitely great after the cold pool making us warn and nice. Later that night we went to the Derby event and connected with these two amazing couples Greg and his wife and Eric and his wife where I connected with Eric and Greg really great and danced with everyone. Also I met Victor and Patricia who were from Ecuador and trying this place for the first time. Missed my buddy Toni yet met friends with good people and had a wonderful off grid and relaxing weekend with everyone.
