Doing things that don't make sense

Hey fellow nudists, I find myself coming back here just to share anything, not necessarily nude-related. For years, I'd say more than a decade, I've been thinking about having a BA degree. I never went to the university or college and was always against it. I was against the concept that I needed to dedicate 3-4 years of my life to studying something I'm not sure will be relevant once I graduate. And let's not even discuss the financial damage that comes with obtaining education. The financial aspect made education more strategic for me than enjoyable. The thought that I needed to study something that would eventually help me gain back all the money I lost as a student. So that took down my passion to study literature, philosophy, or any subject that probably won't be financially beneficial once I graduate. But I do love to study, and I always went to more alternative ways to do so - certificate programs, workshops, and stuff like that. But it was never satisfying. This urge to get my own degree never left me in peace. A decade later, after making this decision, I still can't shake it off, and I'm not sure what to do. My wealthier friends went to college and studied whatever they wanted, no strategy. But I don't have that privilege right now - I'll have to take a loan to pay for education. And let's not even discuss the time and pressure I'll have to dedicate to this for 4 years. Living in the big city, working full time, and studying. Good luck with having life and love. It's hard to tell if I want this degree because society still measures people based on their educational background or if I really just wanna do it for myself. Maybe it's both. After all, we're all linked by a universal consciousness. Until next time...
