Valley View Hot Springs is located about ten miles from Villa Grove Colorado nestled in the mountains. I knew it was clothing optional from what I read on the website and which why I was going there to relax. The first thing you come to is the main office where you have to check in so you can get a coin to get your vehicle passed the gate. As I went in the office there was two ladies working behind the desk who were fully clothed. The other four people were in there were fully nude. After I got checked in at the counter was told the rules I looked around the office and looked at all they had for sale. Before I went back outside I took off my clothes and joined the others on being fully nude. Looking back, I wonder if the people that work there ever get to work nude. As I drove through the gate and pulled up to my parking spot in front of the oak house I saw a few couples all walking around fully nude probably on their way to the pool. The first thing I did since I was sleeping in the dorm room of the oak house was go look at it. It was only ten bucks a night but you might have roommates and you have to bring your own sheets. If you go there you can stay in the dorms, set up a tent, rent a cabin, bring your RV, or rent a room. After I got my stuff settled in I decided to go check out the pool which was not very far away. Since it was around noon I thought I would go work on my tan and swim laps before the sun went down. When I arrived at the pool I figured out that's where everybody must be. There was at least thirty to fifty people there of all ages in various states of dress. How ever most were nude laying out sunbathing. I stayed there awhile eventually left so I could see other spots before the sun went down. I hiked to all three of the lower pools and looked at the sauna. After talking to a few people I found out about the bat cave and the upper pools. So I decided to do that the next day. The hike to the batcave was about two miles one way and you're allowed to hike it completely nude. One thing you should know is that hikers who are not nudists have a trail that meets up near the end so they can watch the bats too. There is a sign warning them they may see nudists on the trail. It's a pretty popular site when the bats are there because thousands fly out of the glory hole every night. It must be a sight to see. Unfortunately I have not seen them fly out so I'll have to make another relaxing trip to hang out au natural. Hopefully I could meet a girl that likes nudism or one willing to try so I don't have to hike alone. It's also very important that you put on sunscreen because of the altitude because the sun is more intense. Well if you don't mind nudism and like a place to relax then I suggest you spend a couple of days there in the nude.
