Gay Man in Recovery

Hello to all on this innovative website. My name is Daniel. I am married to my partner of 12 years and we are raising 2 young boys in the NY metro area. I recently completed treatment for alcohol addiction at a top notch facility in Florida. Although my treatment was effective, its not a cure. As most of us k ow, its an every day battle. However I am 11 months clean and a super dad and husband, as I see it (check in with my husband and he may say different lol). I would love some feedback and to share my daily struggles and challenges with others. I also took up painting and am currently completing 3 acrylic painting projects a week. Some of which I sell, but mostly like to give as gifts to good friends and others in recovery.
