Hoping this isn't the way it is.

I was on here the other night in the chatroom when a member of the LGBT community (I think I got the letters right) joined the room and asked a simple question. Were there any people such as themselves in the room. The comments that followed were not nice to see. Attacked just for asking such a simple question. Why is that any different from an Australian asking if there are any Australians in the room, a Brit asking if there are any Brits in the room etc. etc. One comment thrown at them was that this wasn't a dating site. Obviously the site's prime objective is to allow nudist to connect - but in the profile 'here for' section it lists dating and relationships as two of the options. People ask these simple questions hoping to find people they can relate to for one reason or another. Does it really warrant such animosity? I also watched the following day as a person was trying to draw the fact that they had been threatened in messages. And again, they were ridiculed. Is this site inhabited by bullies, show offs and the intolerant? I thought we were all nudists, here because we enjoy the freedom and don't want to be judged for it. Surely that freedom allows us all to live our lives without being judged unless we are doing harm.
