How I got started in nudism from a Navy Veteran

I got started in nudism in 1990 by going to a unofficial nude beach in SW Michigan. I was planning on going to the beach when I got there I saw signs saying Beyond These Signs You May Encounter Nudity. So I decided to give it a try, I paid my $5.00 and headed down the beach. Once I got there I saw a lot of nude people and it looked fun. Once I got all set up I was super nervous, but this nice guy walked up to me and introduced himself to me. He asked me if this was my first time here and I said yes. I told him I was nervous and he was very nice and told me to relax just go for it. So after 5mins of debating I took off my swimsuit. After that my nerves were going away. During that visit I met some great people that day. I feel in love with that day. Best time of my day of my life. I went to that beach every weekend. I went there until I moved away in 2001, I can tell you I missed it allot. Now living in sunny Florida I am enjoying the great nude life here when I have the time. I have hopes to make some great nude friends on here and in Florida. Bill
