Ice machine dare

I'm in hotels from time to time for work. I was chatting with a cyber-friend on webcam when the topic of "riskiest thing you've ever done" came up. We shared stories then she asked if I was willing to try something risky. By this time, I was worked up and willing to do things I might normally not do if blood hadn't rushed to my other head. I eagerly agreed to do what she requested."Go get a bucket of ice from the hotel ice machine while in the nude," she said. Since the webcam was on, I couldn't fake that dare. It was about 10:30pm so there was a good chance folks would still be coming to their rooms. I showed her the empty ice bucket, grabbed my key, and peeked out into the hallway. The coast was clear. I stepped out into the hall unsure which direction the ice machine was. I got to one end of the hall, made the turn and realized I had walked the wrong way. I retraced my steps, past my room, past the elevator, to the room which had the ice machine and soda machine. As I filled the ice bucket I heard the elevator "ding".You can imagine my fear as I thought what would happen if room service was delivering a cart to a guest on this end of the hall or if a small kid came running in and found me with an ice bucket on my lap.I waited and listened for what seemed like minutes although it was probably only 10 seconds or so. The person exited the elevator and walked the other way. Whew! When I heard the room door close, I sprinted back to my room with the ice bucket and told my friend the story. We both had a good laugh and she told me she couldn't wait to give me another dare.
