It`s all very well for NakedCross (and all the American members)

I've got no real objection to subscription sites, as you say, running a site takes money. I just object to the WAY it's done - it's taking the control from the members, we can't control which 5 pictures we make 'free' and now it appears that we can't control our own friends list and who sees our pictures. Furthermore, this alertpay scheme - what a pain. What's wrong with Paypal, a much more international service. Most of Europe & the UK have done away with personal cheques, so that's not an option either, and many of us don't have credit cards - only debit or payment cards. Finally, it's the way it's just 'appeared' no announcment, no warning, just suddenly it's changed.
