July 4 was a great time to swim, relax, chat, enjoy the hot tub. A variety of snacks were available. Thank you to a returning local member who helped get rid of some dead limbs and for getting our riding mower to start with just a touch of his hand. Allen grilled perfect burgers/cheeseburgers that had the range of condiments and accompaniments anyone could have wanted. The Bordeaux cherry ice cream was fantastic especially with the Hershey's. There were some light rain showers occasionally, but they didn't dampen the camaraderie. Members of other clubs are always welcome as long as they give us a couple days notice to verify. Our members expect the security this gives them. July 5 Friday - Just relax in the sun, shade, or pool or hot tub any time after 3. Basketball pool game and volleyball will be available all weekend. July 6 Saturday - potluck supper @ 6:30. I'll be frying fish. Please bring something to complement the meal, your own snacks and beverages. You are welcome any time after 1pm. So far, only one person will be staying over. I'll cook brunch/breakfast for anyone who does (French toast). The pool is available any day you want to swim or just float. Overnight air conditioned accommodations are available. Please RSVP asap. Daily grounds fee is $5 for members; $10 for non-members. If you plan on arriving on Friday for any part of the day/evening, please let me know. Lots of tenting space is available. We have some room left in the guest house. Hugs, Cheri
