Looking to buy a webcam

I'm finally thinking of getting a webcam. I don't really know why, but I've decided that I want one. I'm not really thinking that anyone wants to look at me, but I'll get one anyway. Does anyone have one that they really like? Does anyone have any suggestions or cautions to share? I have a Dell laptop and it's running Vista Home Premium. Any help would be appreciated. TM
