I am still not really sure what is a blog. At the moment I think of it someone like a journal. So I will start with last night. A caution to those English grammar lovers: grammar is not my best feature. Last night:It got kind of chili last night here in Baton Rouge. Because I am a college student saving money is what I try to do all the time. My roommate and I try our hardest to not have to turn on the heater or the a/c. Being a nudist chili air is not the best. I crawled in the bed and got under the covers to warm myself. Soon I drifted to sleep an hour and a half earlier than I normally do. I woke up an hour after falling asleep. I suddenly had the urge to try and go outside. It is about 11:30pm at this point. My first thought was that, I didn't check the mail today. I will go get the mail in full naked glory. I reached in the drawer were we keep our mailbox key and headed for the door. Getting to the door I unlocked and put my hand on the handle. I was not able to turn it. Thoughts of what are you doing. There are too many lights out there. You can't go out there. More thoughts of you are in a college town no one will care. Followed by if someone calls your landlord you may get put out, then what.I locked the door back and place the mailbox key back. Heading upstairs back to my room I stopped. Asking myself, what are you afraid of? You can do this. I made a compromise with myself. You don't have to go all the way to the mailbox, just step outside the door. I opened the door and quietly closed it back. I peeped out the peep hole. No one was there. But I did notice the edge of my small patio was a better goal.I opened the door again, step in front of it and close my eyes while closing the door behind me. I opened my eyes and felt very comfortable. It still was a little chili but I felt a sense of belonging to the outside world. I walked to the edge of the small patio and sat down nude, legs spread and all. I managed to let two car pass and didn't care because at that moment, that spot is where I needed to be. I was out there for about five minutes before I got to cold and went back inside. I got back in bed and slept like a baby.
