My New Book Finds Other Nudists

As an author, I mention one of my most significant nudist experiences in my current book. Although I never actually mentioned that I am a nudist, a few people who have read it have taken it upon themselves to let me know that they are nudist and asked if I am. Obviously my life is an open book (for many reasons), so if I am asked a question like that, I answer with the truth. It is amazing to see the smiles that come across peoples faces when you tell them that. I am truly blessed to be doing what I am doing in my life and this just adds to the awesomeness! Although I cannot technically share the moment from the book in its entirety (contractual obligations), I can share the following exert of it I did something that I have always wanted to do, and it was life affirming. I went to a clothing optional beach. The key word in that sentence is optional. It was in no way for sexual reasons, but I have always wanted to go to one. Now planning to go was one thing, but actually being there was another. I wasnt sure how I would feel about taking my clothes off in front of others and being overweight. The key for me was that I looked around and noticed that not everybody there had a perfect body. Then in one quick motion I was standing on the beach wearing nothing. I wasnt fearful of people looking at me by any means, and nobody cared about how I looked. They were all there for the same reason that I was to feel free. In fact, I met a few people and had quite good conversations with them. One person, an older lady, came over to me and said, I assume this is your first time at a beach like this. I was quick to justify that it was. She gave me a piece of advice that I will take with me wherever I go. She said, We all felt the same way the very first time. She was right. I am sure everybody was a little nervous the first time they did this. Then I thought how true that was about so many other things in life. I took to heart what she said, and I placed my towel down on the sand and sat back for some good sun time. Unfortunately, I am fair skinned, and with that came sunburn. Needless to say, I was sunburned pretty much everywhere. I know the next time (and there will be a next time) I am going to bring sunscreen with a higher SPF! Now I can check that off of my list of things to do. Now I know this was extreme compared to a lot of the other things that I want to do, but it is something that I have always sought to do, and now I have done it. The human body is nothing to be ashamed of. We are only that way because we believe what advertisers tell us. We believe that we have to be society perfect in every aspect of our bodies to be seen all natural. Untrue, we are perfect, just the way God created us. Things dont have to be perfect, to be perfect.
