My nudie origin story

Inspired by simone_b_free to share my nudie origin story - so here it is. When I was a kid I developed a great friendship with a brother and sister who were very close in age. They lived not so far from my home; walking distance in fact. Their parents owned a swimming pool. One day whilst swimming in the pool and before we were old enough for high school, my mates sister slipped off her swim wear and then duly asked us to so the same. As you all would be aware this was a moment of freedom. One where the world kind of slips away. Nothing sexual ever came of this activity but I would return home to my parents often feeling guilty and like I had a huge secret. There was a reason for the guilt though... Local to where I grew up was what was termed in the 1970's a 'nudist camp'. It had large corrugated sheet iron around the front so as to not have the members visible from the roadway. We'd often drive past and my father would sledge nudists inferring that they were somehow mentally incapacitated. Dad's driver had always been to keep his four sons on the 'straight and narrow' - no gay sons and no pre-marital sex/kids etc etc... But this burned a curiosity for me! I became more intrigued and the skinny dipping I had done till then was already addictive. As we entered high school and I was allowed to stay later into the evening at my mates place I discovered that his parents had 'pool parties' every Saturday evening. Now these were mildly alcohol fuelled but inevitably ended with all the adults naked in the pool sipping cocktails and beers. To me and my mate and his sister it all looked like great fun! I continued to shed the guilt of being nude. I also continued to skinny dip with my mates sister for many years. Nothing sexual ever transpired between us but we both appreciated seeing the changes in each others bodies over the years. Once she started having boyfriends it all sadly ended. Having my own pool nowadays its pure joy to swim naked all the time. We're still friends 50 years later and every now and then talk about our current nudie adventures!
