Naked and Free on the Trails

I've mentioned in my other blogs, located here about the trails I've been walking on, through the South Rockdale Community Park, the Johnson Park Trail, and now Factory Shoals in Newton County. I truly love spending that time out of doors, away from all the bustle of life, away from the cell phones and televisions and endless yammerings of, well, everyone. It's a sense of freedom, one that I've loved ever since I had my apartment in Milledgeville. There were days at Lake Sinclair, when, seeing no one in the park, I took my bathing trunks off and put them near one of the wooden poles used to delineate shallow from deep water. Then I'd skinnydip for a little while, just reveling in the fact that I could be that free in a world so filled with fences and restrictions. Then I'd put my suit back on and, after a little while, drive back to my apartment with my shirt off, windows rolled down (because my car had no AC), and enjoyed my summer. There's nothing like that freedom, which, in this case, is totally related to nudity. I talked about that below. It's a metaphor, the symbol of being naked (or at least shirtless), of being free of societies' restrictions. Aesthetic norms, boundaries....etc... Who says I can't be fat and shirtless at the same time? Every time I see some chubby kid with his shirt on while swimming, I want to just shout and him, "Take it Off!! Don't worry about what other people think! Don't let the world dictate your actions just because of their aesthetic norms!" And of course, I'm a little hypocritical, because most of the times I'm shirtless, even now, inside the house when no one is home, I'll put on a shirt to check the mail. I can't even follow my own rules just walking outside to get mail (I'll put on a tank top, or something, which is a compromise). It's located on the shores of the Alcovy River, in a place away from basically everyone in the corner of Newton County. You're near a river, and since everyone there is there to go swimming, there's no problem about not having a shirt on. There, the aesthetic norms are greatly reduced. As I said before, I once saw two large Hispanic guys standing in the middle of the river with speedos on. They didn't care that it wasn't aesthetically pleasing for everyone else around. They wore what they wanted to. So I walk the trails, shirtless, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I take along my walking stick and use it to get rid of spider webs on the trail, and to sweep aside briars and the like. There's such peace and beauty there, and I feel at home. There's no briars around, and I get rid of the webs, and there's no people here. So I went home and looked online, and, sure enough, there are websites of people who hike nude. Most are in nudist camps, or in places where nudity is legal (very few on Earth). But some talk about times when they camped out in the wilderness, and, at night or at a time when no one was around, they walked down the trails naked (except for shoes.... gotta have shoes...) So when I went there a yesterday, I went to those paths and, after deliberation (I have had a hard time seeing the deer stands in other parks, so there's no telling who might be up there, waiting for does), took my shorts off and walked for a brief time naked through the park. It was a good experience, and not sexual at all. I even thought of that.... I could jack off out here in the middle of nowhere and cum on the leaves next to the trail, and no one would know. But I didn't feel aroused, only happy. Not very many places in the parks I've been in where I'd actually do that (only those few trails in Factory Shoals, because those in the SRCP are constantly used by horseback riders, moped people, and other travelers.) But it was a cool experience, and it further illustrates the idea of freedom and nudity being two very related ideas.
