Naked Hiking Day

I managed to take my first naked hike of the season on Naked Hiking Day! The weather in the Midwest USA has been rather cool this spring, so the impetus to get out for some naked time in nature hasnt been as strong as usual. I had been flying RC Airplanes in the afternoon on the Solstice. The drive home took me by the parking lot at the entrance to a wilderness area. It was a lovely, warm, first day of summer, so on a whim, I pulled into the parking lot. There were no other cars and the trail is an out & back, so I could assume I would be alone, at least on the way out. I stripped down to athletic shors & sandals at the car and headed out. Around the first bend and out of sight from the road, the shorts came off. The sun was warm and there were few insects about, so I got an hour or so of communing with nature in my natural state. It was a perfect end to my adventures for the day
