Name and Nickname

Just to let you know so you don't get confused about what is my name. My name is Angela Dupre, but all my friends call me Angel You see, in English there is the name Angel but it is not used much. And in English Angel can be for male or female; it is the same word for both. In Spanish (my native language) we have different words for that. A female Angel would be Angela (my name), while a male Angel would be Angelo. The only difference is the last letter, but you don't want to use the wrong letter when calling someone named Angel in Spanish, or you would be insulting the person, LOL And then when not specifying sex, we have the word Angel, which is sort of neutral. Angela, Angelo and Angel, three words in Spanish for one word in English! But Angel means asexual angel. Now, since my name means Female Angel, but I am a Transsexual, which is like being "half and half" (half man, half woman), my friends just call me Angel. It fits in English, and it fits as a Transsexual; part of both sexes, or asexual. Weird, isn't it? LOL So you see, My profile says my name is Angela, but I'm know by my friends as Angel Just wanted to clarify the confusion. Kisses Angel
