As you leave Ketchum headed north on the state highway through the national forest there, all the land to the east of the highway is no-fee camping - you can just pull off the highway and find a camping spot. . . We were able to camp in our car for a night or two, and stayed bare the whole time. There were no other people within sight or earshot - just aspen forest. It was lovely!
