No Surprise for Bisexual Men: Report Indicates They Exist

This is the headline from an article in The New York Times (link below). Being bi is culturally difficult. Straight people enjoy all the advantages of being a part of the dominant culture. Gay people have a robust culture that is growing all the time. There is no support system for bi people and many people seem to think that it's just a stopping off point on the way to being fully homosexual. I think the our language serves us poorly here. I see the word "gay" as being a cultural/social orientation and the word "homosexual" as being a sexual/affectional orientation. The same construct applies to "straight" and "hetrosexual".
