For those who haven't caught up to the news yet: I finally got my first experience with social nudism! It happened on October 18th, 2020, at around 17:30 GMT+2. Me and my boyfriend went to a sports center nearby (which has an attached swimming pool) which is letting a nudist organisation host nude swimming. We were very excited to go there and try it out. At first, I thought I would be a little more anxious and feel insecure, but after walking into the pool nude, seeing the others, and securing ourselves a pair of chairs, we already felt very comfortable; and we did not hesitate to take a dive! Let me tell you: Nude Swimming is Awesome. I'm pleased. The experience was amazing. Whilst the majority was of older age, we felt very welcomed and accepted. There was also a member who was a photographer for NFN, one of a few nudist organisations in The Netherlands (She asked for and got permission to take photos of us. Even called us great models!) And the common scares? Did not notice them at all. Nobody walking around "extra excited", nobody judging you, and a few stares with smiles and nods of approval and appreciation. Nudity is normal in these environments, and there is nothing to be scared about :) My advice? Start with nude swimming. It is the easiest environment to be in when trying social nudism for the first time. Everyone is having fun, and everyone is comfortable!
