Nudism / Naturism and sex - The erection issue

Nudism / Naturism & sex.... In my 41 years+ of practicing nudism / Naturism, I had to clear out many times for my textile friends, that practicing nudism/naturism is no more sexual than wearing clothes. We are all human and we all have feelings and needs...as humans, we are very sexual beings indeed. One of the rare animals having sex for pleasure compared to most who are doing it by instinct to propagate their species. It doesn t matter if you wear clothes or not, if you are attracted to a person...you are attracted! Simple as that...the only difference, specially for men, is that it is more noticeable when you are naked... An erection or dripping penis is hard to conceal when you are naked, compared to when you are clothed... Men do have numerous erections during the day and night, those are natural erections occuring as part of normal healthy body functions and are not sexual as such... So are erections a bad thing when you are a nudist/naturist...for me I'll say absolutely not....it is the same as yawning...it happen! And if you are with friends or even in a real nudist / naturist venue, no one should really care...most nudist / naturist venues require men to cover their erections with a towel...my question is why? It is natural..even if it occurs when a male is sexually interested in another person, what is the issue? It is a natural response that will only be temporary...people call themselves nudist / naturist, yet they forbid the very natural response of the human body....when at the same time advocating a natural lifestyle based on acceptance...? Hard to find a better & more obvious contradiction! If there is no intention of creating and sustaining an erection by taking medications or touching himself or any other mean to show off and / or be sexually explicit, a male should not be ashamed of his erection in public! And should certainly not made to feel guilty to have one when practicing nudism / naturism! Nor should anyone feel offended by it....it is totally natural...it is part of the human body and its response to various stimulus! It is after all a natural response . Should we get offended when someone yawn? Stretch ? Sneeze ? Has hick up? ....We are adults and know it just happen! I do see why the nudist / naturist venues who try to create a code of conduct to fend off the preconceived ideas from textiles that nudism / naturism is a sexual deviance, but they are not helping themselves or the nudist/ naturist society by doing so. Nor do they keep the creeps away with such practice / rule...creeps will find way to sneak in...and while I do think an erection is not a big deal, I think very differently about a sex acts in a place where others who have not censented to view such act, are exposed to it! Sex acts should occurs in private places with consenting parties only. Let's be totally honest here...we are adults practicing nudism / naturism and promoting healthy body and acceptance, yet we create discrimination against men which body functions are, as they are supposed to be! It is indeed an injustice and a contradiction of the lifestyle itself...which is supposed promote acceptance. What about the children, witnessing an erection? Are they going to be traumatised?...if you are a parent and you introduce your child to nudism / naturism, explaining an erection should be as normal as explaining the difference between male and female. It is a natural occurrence. Not something to fear or feel indignation or repulsion about! If the nudist / naturist society start to accept those as normal healthy occurrences, all, will follow and do the same. Covering ourselves only promote that thought that erections are bad / dirty. That attitude is counter productive and is not an healthy measure as it stigmatise male nudists / naturists. I know some young males nudists / naturists who go to the length of masturbating prior to attending a nudist venue. I must confess I did it myself when I was younger, as I was affraid of one occuring in public and be kicked out or shamed. It did cast some shadows on my enjoyment of the freedom of being nude at the time. Therefore it is safe to say that due to the self restriction of the nudist / naturist society and expectation of the textile society, requiring males to cover their erections, males are forced into sexual behaviour (masturbation) to avoid being confronted, when their body display a natural and healthy response... This is far from the message of acceptance and understanding the clothes free lifestyle is supposed to carry. I am sure the above is going to create some interesting polymics and personal attacks of my views, but it is not healthy either to avoid discussions...change cannot happen without talks...let s begin...
