Orientation

Here we are in 2021 using terms from the late 1900s that are misleading and to some persons, likely to be objectionable. We have corrected many of our terms referencing African heritage and native American heritage but why do we continue to use terms like Gay or Straight to inaccurately describe a wide range of sexual orientations. If persons are identified as having a straight orientation are the other peoples orientations crooked? If persons are identified as Gay is the gender defining them as cheerful, bright or showy or is it defining them as practicing homosexuals and/or other stereo types. To me the orientation choices would be more acceptable and definitive if they were listed as follows: A person who prefers same gender sexual relationships. A person who prefers opposite gender sexual relationships. A person who enjoys sexual relationships with both genders. A person who likes social and visual relationships with all genders. A person who wants to/or has changed genders. A person whose mannerisms are characteristic of the opposite sex. We are all good people in many ways and should not be judged based on our physical orientations or our personal preferences. Do you feel that TrueNudists should update their orientation check list to include a truer orientation description of its members? By Nuhikerde
