I recently had the opportunity to attend my first clothing optional event. Since it was clothing optional and she wouldn’t have to disrobe I was able to convince my spouse to go with me. Now neither of us actually got nude (I did remove my shirt, but a guy with no shirt is kind of a yea so what right?), so I am thinking of this experience as a half experience. I had made a decision some time ago that while I really wanted to experience social nudity I did not and would not do so without my spouse. Now that we have attended together this first time, I am really glad I made that decision, because I know it would not be the same if I could not share it with her. Just as I have read and heard from multiple source it is true that nudist are the friendliest sort of people. In a textile social environment where I don’t know many if any of the people I am usually at least a little uncomfortable. But here I found myself in a room full of people that I had never met before and it was if I was just with few close friends. I knew how good my nudity can make me feel, but I was surprised at how other people being nude made me comfortable. Maybe it is simply that without clothing it feels that there is nothing that can be hidden. Speaking of nothing hidden, I found it interesting how everything can be seen yet you really see nothing. I could go on and on but the bottom line is the first “half†experiences was great and am really looking forward to the next time when I plan on having the “full†experience.
