Paya Bay Resort in Roatan, Honduras

Roatan is a Caribbean island just north of mainland Honduras, and it is a popular cruise ship stop. As a former British colony, most people in Roatan can speak English, making it one of the few places in Latin America that Americans have no language barrier. It has great SCUBA diving and beautiful beaches for anyone to explore, but do you know there is a naturist resort in Roatan? Paya Bay Resort is on the northeast side of the island, away from the town and cruise ship terminals. There are two beaches (one is nude) and nature trails for nude hiking around the property. There are spots for me to lay down naked around the cliff, by the water, and at the nude beach. It is such a relaxing location where the sea crashes onto the shore while watching the sunset! Paya Bay offers all inclusive package if you stay at least 3 nights, but they also have bed and breakfast rate for about $100 per night. There is a restaurant in the main building, and there's a bar restaurant by the nude beach. The menu is simple and reasonable prices, and the service is excellent! Also, there's free coffee and water at the main restaurant/lobby area that one can refill. 13 rooms total are available, and the room I had is spacious with A/C and two beds (1 king, 1 queen). Beach towels are included. Bathroom is spacious with a big shower. Also, day trip (mainly for those visiting for a day on a cruise ship) is also available. They offer to pick you up anywhere on the island at a reasonable price (For example, airport to the resort is about $40 that took about an hour; it was $30 from the Roatan Yacht Club that took about 40 min). Paya Bay is a wonderful resort that I highly recommended, and remember to bring some bug spray and suntan notion (afterall, it is nature!) Website: payabay.com Whatsapp: +504-3319-2057
