Certification is pending! Suppose I'll use this blog function in the mean time. TN so far seems to be an interesting place. Maybe a good tool for finding things to do, but I'm not so sure I'm going to actually meet anyone here. Which is fine.. who knows though, right? The future is not yet written.. So I'm living in Southern California at the moment.. and I'm thinking about taking a trip to Glen Eden at some point in the future. I've done a little research about it, and as it turns out - new single types are allowed tours at the end of May - Sept. Reviews have been kind of polarizing, but I'm an optimist and I'm thinking the bad reviews are mostly coming from people who breached regulations or something like that. There is a singles meet there as well, apparently the first weekend of the month.. might attend that just to see who's there. I gotta say, it's going to be interesting regardless of the fact. I've never quite done something like this, so I'm not so sure what to expect. I'm not new to the idea of being naked and such, but I'm not sure what it's going to be like out in the open with a bunch of people I don't know. Boiled down to its basic elements.. probably just like anything else. If my artistic background has taught me anything .. at least through life drawing classes, I should be fine. Being forced to stare and draw what you see for hours at a time really helps remove any kind of social hard-wiring. It's weird.. because for most "newbies" they're worried about being seen by other people.. that doesn't bother me. I just don't want to be the only one nude.. which is why I don't do beaches. Group mentality or something like that, I don't know. Either way.. the idea to me sounds amazing.. and one hell of an adventure!
