Reducing Screen time works.

In this day and age, social media is changing the way our minds work. People do not realize they are being influenced by the things they look at on social media. Many young people in 2025 aged between 20 and 29 years are becoming more confused and are suffering in their mental health. This is positively correlated to excessive manipulation by content creators acting disengeniously or fraudulently, such as fraudulent health and wellness gurus and content creators. The self-help road is hurting Generation Z because of the turmoil that Western Gen Z members and Gen Z members elsewhere in the globe. Manipulative people are capitalizing off of the ease of the flow of information and misinformation. It is just too easy for many people to be manipulated. It is neccessary to focus on the outside world connections rather than the solitude and digital thoughts we have either alone offline or digitally. Everything we have online is shaping our minds. People need to have patience to be present with people who help and to do what we need to maintain healthy relationships and healthy interactions. Governments of States often fail to promote the right forms of healthy interactions. It happens way too often that unhealthy thoughts and unhealthy mental spaces and interaction with other people causes people to be left failed and dissappointed because of the inadequacies of many states, as evidenced by their failures in times of catastrophy. The people are left wronged and hurt by their government, churches, and social organizations when unhealthy relationships are promoted. States and churches really get very unhealthy very often. By the very nature of Most governments, most, if not all, governments, they never are on the side of all of the people's interests or listen to the interests and needs of all people equally. Few states could handle such a duty without unanimous consent of the governed, which is outright impossible in most if not all circumstances. In all circumstances, unanimous consent of the governed to agree to the practices of the government NEVER is acheived without public information campaigns and transparency from inside the government on what the government does, You would have to not have a military to even achieve transparency because of classification and sensitivity to government records regarding military use of taxpayers' dollars, which often are funded anti-democratically and funded without the transparency and accountability of the government to taxpayers. This and other evidences mean that governments by nature never are done with the transparency of the government to the governed and the unanimous consent of the governed ever! Nobody accounts unanimously for the rule of the government, and it either is majoritarian and without unanimous consent or rules over nations in a smaller minority ruling the majority over in the government. Most just put up with this because it helps them achieve what "They" want! Too many people also put up with church indoctrination and with terrible Governmental Indoctrination, whether from a religious government or otherwise from a non-religious or secular or tolerant-but-separate government. Too many people tolerate injustice in the world for the sake of the aims of their own government to get their government to do whatever "we the people" want, even if we do not get the transparency and accountability we want or otherwise the unanimous consent under a transparent government we really want. But too many people put up with it. So for a long time, digital landscapes are mediocre just like large government-funded media landscapes are mediocre. So, therefore, the people who like what they like have to put up with inaction, because their governments, often, functionally act anti-democratic all the time and hender the democratic process to change the inadequacies of media and the digital landscape and the inadequacies and failures of government entities. Few people are not subject to the actions our government in the USA or other governments are subjecting everyone in their state to by behaving as a government in an antidemocratic way. And the Pandemic worsened much of this, and it was at the same time that the media landscape and digital landscape worsened these things. This manipulation and otherwise censorship and repression that those in the digital landscapes all over the world in different nations is greatly caused by the totality or broad reach of anti-democratic rule inside every or near every nation. And almost every nation, including Communist or Marxist-Leninists' nations, often have many suffer from the landscape of repression and manipulation present in the Digital landscape. I might add, that even in the USA, though as selective as "They" say the repression may be, there are so many examples of people being repressed in media and in the digital landscape. And repression abounds when their governments do not decide things democratically but compulsively and constantly and extremely frequently act undemocratically. And it happens in the United States, it happens in Autocracies, and it definitely happens even in most of the world's democracies. Even in Europe, some parties actively, in some form or other forms, as a ruling party in government or inside agencies ruled by parties in government, to repress and manipulate and censor people and the digital landscape. And it does not help, that everyone and their mom is on the internet because the Phones have browsers built-in that nearly every phone user uses consistently. The media landscape, as well as Social Media and the Digital landscape, is often full of targeting and manipulation, both by individuals and by groups, and such manipulation is always done consistently and constantly and some users of the internet are always doing it all the time. Afterward: Some video I saw inspired me to write this. I really think, very careful manipulation, especially in 20 to 29 year-old people, is making the internet less healthy. The internet is what it is because there is constant manipulations for many reasons, done both by individuals and by groups and political parties and by Governments. The original video mostly talks about the way in which the people are being directed and misdirected to certain information based on just algorithms used by the tech companies.
