Some Favourite Naturist Places

We first tried naturism at Morfa Dyffryn, which is why I chose it as my TN name. Unfortunately you're at the mercy of the British climate and there is no shelter apart from what you take with you. Tything Barn is also in the UK but more sheltered and it has the essential facilities, shelter, toilets, showers and you can book a stay there. Both places have very beautiful scenery so I've included some photos. Note that this blog is my first attempt and is experimental. Tything Barn The first few are of the lagoon where you can swim, fish or take a boat out. It's known as the New Barn Dock. The other lagoon (known as the Old Barn Dock) is too shallow for proper swimming, though I have swum in parts of it. Both lagoons are flooded quarries and were used at one time for oyster farming. It can become almost dry during a hot summer - when we get one Our dog, afraid of the water! Morfa Dyffryn We started our naturist adventure here - and it's where my TN name came from. I mean to add some photos and Morfa Dyffryn comments soon. A terrible warning of the danger of seeing naked people! They infect the dunes and corrupt innocent dogs. They obstruct the view of the sea. At least you can get away from them by leaving the area. Friends who met through TN have a day out at MD Origan If you don't know Origan - get to know it is my advice. It's in a quiet rural situation about 60 miles from Nice in France. Though isolated it has sufficient facilities. There is a wonderful metre-gauge railway that goes within two miles of Origan. It runs from Nice to Dignes-les-Bains and the engineering needed to build the line is beyond belief. We have always used the railway to travel to Origan - plus, usually, a lift provided to the site, though we've also walked a few times between Origan and the local station, Puget-Theniers. Well, naturism is for outdoor types, is it not? I have few photos in the Origan resort itself but many showing the beauty and interest of the surrounding area. I've tried to give an impression here. Naturist Walk There is a well marked walk round the higher parts of the site. It takes about an hour. Arnot Chapel of the Knights Templar Entrevaux
