Bicycle tour with nude stops We have stayed overnight at Breitenbush Hot springs in Oregon, where the only clothing-optional part is the hot springs and sauna, which we did both enjoy nude. This was a positive experience - my wife remarked that people were very congenial and conversational in the hot tub - very open and accepting. We soaked both in the developed springs (with stone work etc. - quite nice) and in the ones in a meadow. Enjoyable but again we were on a multi-hundred-mile bike tour from Sandy, OR past Mt. Hood through Bend, west through Oakridge, and so on past Breitenbush, soaking in a number of hot springs along the way. Other trips are coming to mind now - on one bike tour from Reno, north up Sierra Valley, then west into the Central Valley, through Ukiah to Mendocino then south to San Francisco, we stayed one night each at: Sierra Hot Springs, where we camped and soaked in the nude - very positive experience, my wife afterward reminisced about our making love in a cedar hot tub overlooking a meadow - it was pitch dark and no one else was there at the time, though we had soaked naked with others in some of their other hot springs. Woody's Feather River Hot Springs, where the only c-o part is the hot springs on the river; stayed in a cabin. We both soaked nude. Harbin Hot Springs, where we camped in our tent and soaked in the springs nude, and I got a nude Watsu session from a Watsu student, young woman from NM. That, too, was positive for my wife and for me. Orr Hot Springs, where the only c-o spot was the hot tubs, which we both used nude. Very nice venue which I wished was totally c-o as it is secluded and was warm and dry and very, very pretty. An ok experience for that reason. We soaked in other hot springs as well, including one in the hills above Santa Barbara that we hiked into, a short hike that as I recall we did in the buff. On another bike tour (we do all of these tours with just the two of us, by the way), we rode our bikes from Port Angeles onto the ferry to Victoria, up Vancouver Island past Nanaimo, camping along the way, with our turnaround point being the island where Little Tribune Bay is, a clothing-optional venue with golden sand and warm water (this was August). We both swam and sunned nude at this gorgeous place. On our way back we traversed Saltspring Island and stopped by a lake that has a c-o sunning/swimming dock. On yet another tour, we parked in Nanaimo, rode our bikes north and took a ferry to the Sunshine Coast (mainland), then north to almost road-end, where we rented a double kayak and padded 12 or so km north to a wilderness provincial park and camped in the nude on a remote island, again just overnight before paddling back and resuming our bike journey south and ferrying back to Nanaimo and our car.
