Textiles vs. Naturists: The Body as an Ally

There is an invisible war between two ways of existing. Textiles believe the body is a problem to be hidden. Naturists know the body is a solution to be discovered. And when you have MS and ITP, that war becomes existential. My skin remembers everything: The fire of MS that scorches nerves beneath the surface The ITP that turns blood into a traitor The clothing that adds another layer of suffering But my will is stronger than all diagnoses. It took that same skin burning, numb, enduring treatments and transformed it into a bridge to freedom. When I stand naked in the forest, the MS and ITP don't disappear. But they become part of the story, not the end of it. The wind caressing my therapy scars, The rain cooling the fire beneath my skin, The earth receiving my bare feet all of it says: "Your skin is not your enemy. Your skin is your oldest ally." While a textile touches their body through fabric, I allow the light to read my history: Breasts that breathe despite spasticity A penis that awakens to life despite fatigue Scars that tell a story of survival Naturism is not a victory over illness. It is a truce with my own body. It is the moment we stop fighting and start feeling. And in that feeling in the touch of wind on sensitive skin, in the warmth of sun on weary muscles I find the deepest truth: My body is not perfect. But it is good enough to feel the magic of existence.
