The casual but uninterested nudists

My partner and a friend went to Lake Como with me today to participate in the 2.5K walk held in conjunction with the DARE TO BARE 5K run. As the entry allowed for a complimentary day pass, I thought after the run we'd hang out at Lake Como for a bit and enjoy the nudist time. Me? I was looking forward to some quality nudist time. As soon as the events for the run ended, it was "Okay, let's go." WTF? We're here with a day pass to a pool and all the nudity one could take and they want to leave! Like most of us here, I'm a home nudist. The chance to get out, socialize and "hang out" nude is a very rare commodity. I had been looking forward to this for months and to have it quashed for lunch was disheartening. What happened to these so called nudist friends of mine? So what did I take away from this? Both have expressed an interest in doing the 5K run at Paradise Lakes in July. Are we going to do it? Here's what I'm going to do . . . I'm going to keep this run under the radar and hopefully neither of them will go. That way I can go by myself and do what I want to do. I guess I need to learn . . . when it comes to being a nudist, it's all about me.
