the "new" chat room is so frustrating...or am I doing something wrong?

When I click on a profile and make it full screen, I can't scroll down to read it! Have tried everything and there is no vertical slider to scroll down. Also it used to be as tou scrolled down the list of chat room names....it automatically reverts back to the top of the page....it used to be it would stay where you left it. All the new bells and whistles of custom avatars, facebook, twitter etc aren't for crap if I've lost other featiures to get them! Am I the only one experiencing these problems?
