It's past 6 AM and I've got nothing to do, so why not write a few things about how I got into nudism and how it's intertwined with my faith. I believe that we are all made in the image of God. The human body is one of God's greatest and most fascinating creations. We are born naked, yet we are expected to wear clothes in most of society. To me, nudity is a place of refuge from that which constricts us. Nudity is where we are at our most vulnerable, but also at our most honest. I've always enjoyed being naked, exercising naked, sleeping naked, using my computer naked, and especially praying and meditating naked - presenting myself to God the way He created me. It is an intimate place where our bodies become one with our surroundings, and we experience an eye-opening realization that we are part of nature. That feeling of true humiliation is what keeps us grounded. Nude worship, in particular, is not a new thing at all. There are multiple instances of nudity in Scripture, and only after Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit does nudity become something to be ashamed of. But regardless of what we wear we are wrapped in the love of our Creator. It is a relationship that is incomparable to any worldly relationship, and God's eternal love and patience is incomprehensible to our finite minds. With all that said, I leave you with a quote: "What spirit is so empty and blind, that it cannot recognize the fact that the foot is more noble than the shoe, and skin more beautiful than the garment with which it is clothed?"
