Trying the Nudist Lifestyle out

I have been trying to get into the Nudist lifestyle for a little over a year now and I am finding mixed feelings. While I was in Texas, I was trying to attend a nudist group called Shirts and Skins, and although I never got to attend one of their parties, I am unable to find another nudist group like them. It was all gay-males group but they did allow for straight couples to come, although none took the offer. It was a great group with the rules of any one couple only one person needs to be fully naked, the other one, usually the shy one or the non-nudist, got to keep what they felt comfortable on. They held parties about once every one to two months throughout the year and mainly consisted on older gentlemen. Now that I am Washington, the only gay nudist groups I can hardly meet the definition of a nudist. But I am beginning to think the term "Nudist" is as confusing as the word "Terrorism". No one has the same definition and this holds true for nudist groups as well. So far in Seattle, I have found the Olympians, who appear to be more about sex than nudism, although they do come the closest my definition of gay nudist. Then there are the Jerk-Off Group who primary goal is to get off with each other by performing only hand jobs. Then there are the Rain City Jacks who like to masturbate as well with other men. There is a more active group that is called Romp Naked where men get together in the nude to do art, music, and dancing. Although it is paid membership, it does not fit into what I was looking forward when I moved up here, which is a calm environment with other people. On the flip side, the only straight options I have here are to join a nudist resort or colony which I believe have at least 4 in the area so that is a plus. However, to enjoy the company of any other nudist, in particular other men, seems to be nonexistent without the need to get involved in some sexual activity.
