Why are people against Nudism?

According to the International Naturist Federation, naturism is: "a lifestyle in harmony with nature, expressed through social nudity, and characterised by self-respect of people with different opinions and of the environment". I've been interested in naturism ever since I can remember. I like everything created by nature and our body is no exception. Being natural is nothing to be ashamed of as this is how we are made. People say they love nature in all its splendor and glory then one should start with our own self as we are also part of God's creation and thus part of nature. Often people confuse nudity to sex and erotism (more so in our part of the world). But you may all agree that sometimes clothing may be more erotic and sensual than the naked body. Covering our body was invented by human species only to protect our bodies against undesirable weather and other forces of nature. All other living creatures enjoy and live life as they are created. Why this difference considering humans are the most advanced and the most progressive race. Why this backward thinking about our own body? I do not mean to say that nudists are frigid or sexually unresponsive. They have needs and feelings too. But there is a time and place for everything. Thinking of naked body as being sexual and considering an invitation for sex is what I'm against. In that case animals and birds would be just procreating throughout their lives! I will sign off stating respect self and respect others as we are part of God's creation meant to co-exist and live with everyone in harmony. If you love nature and all its creation, accept yourself as you are created, first. You are a part of one too!
