Women uncovering as men cover more

Though I am a dedicated and expereinced nudist, because there are no nude beaches nearby, I've been hitting the local 'textile' beaches recently, some of them with thousands of people every sunny day. i've notices and enjoyed the fact that each year the women and girls wear less and less. This year especially, bare or nearly bare female butts have become very common. To look at the females one would think that "nudity acceptance" can't be far behind (pardon the pun). But for men, it is just the opposite. What were mid thigh then knee length boardshorts or bathing suits a few years ago have lenghtened to well below the knee, and of course they are baggy. All that material...not great for swimming or for sunnng as they cover so much and take so long to dry. Even the "Euros" (ours are mostly Canadians actually) rarely wear a standard speedo much less a bikini style these days. Anyone else notice this and wonder why these opposite trends are so evident? Don't get me wrong. I love the trend for females , young and older. As a guy, though I'd love to wear nothing, but if not nothing at least 9or should I say atmost?) a small, lightweight suit.... which 10-15 years ago was fine but now is just totally out of style and would I know draw strange looks. I just don't get our culture when it comes to nudity and body acceptance/awareness. You'd think we'd be moving forward. to me we are confused. Glad I have nude vacations to look forward to.
