World Travel Safety Update

Hi everyone. Just a little friendly reminder that not everywhere is safe. Many areas are unsafe or dangerous not just for nudists, but for everyone coming in from outside, in a lot of places! Many Westerners can only imagine living in some places. Just a reminder that the African Country of the DR Congo is having things go really down bad right now! The DR Congo, formerly ZAIRE, has had several decades of instability since European takeover in the early 1870s and later times. Democratic Republic of Congo currently is extremely dangerous in EASTERN regions of DR CONGO right now because of the M23 War within the broader KIVU Conflict. Everyday minerals we use in everything from appliances, batteries, and smartphones themselves are often mined there in large pit mines doing mining by hand there, often illegally. It is really sad living there, as many people live in disease ridden conditions in unfortunate circumstances. People in Western Nations need to be careful where they get their materials for schools and batteries and Smartphones, as many minerals used in all of these items are gathered from materials mined inside the pit mines in DR CONGO. Support the business of Americas and European and Australian-Mined materials so the people in Congo do not have to have these squalid jobs! Anyone working in there is doing poorly and faces all kinds of terrible illnesses due to lacking proper labor standards in the workplace and the hazards they face being enormously dangerous. Many wars are being fought by the ill-equiped central government to fight Rwanda and the Rebels against their armies to help the people over there defend their territories from rebels there. Many scammers come from there because people living there are very often impoverished and homeless internally displaced persons living there! The living standards are crazy and it is very difficult to survive there. Do not feel good knowing you are helping warring totalitarian factions fight over each other in bitter violence against each other. Leave their fighting to just their country, and do not aid the rebels or the RWANDA government helping them. RWANDA is waging wars over territory against the Kinshasa based DR CONGO government, and they are in a bitter conflict right now. And make sure you know where companies that you buy from get their minerals. This is more difficult than ever due to globalization of minerals, and neglect for the outside nations where the minerals come from and neglect of labor standards inside the mineral-rich countries in many parts of the world with Authoritarian governments. And if you can, try not to travel to FORMER ZAIRE now DR CONGO. And be careful on here and other websites when talking to people from there because you never know who you are talking to anyway.
