Hi, I am new to this forum and also into nudism. I think nudism is great. Hope I would learn a lot from you.
I'm sorry for the following comments. But this is very important to me.
I had a look at profiles on this site and I found a gorgeous woman named saravirgin. However, she is a fake. Her profile picture belongs to Denise Milani, which is a non-nude supermodel. I'm afraid other users (especially beautiful girls) are also fake.
You can trust? Should I trust?

Some people lead such uninspiring lives that the only joy they get comes from pretending to be someone they're not on the internet. Go figure.

Certification helps, but the only way is to build trust over time, and a considerable amount of communication with them. There is now a lot of info here on the forums,   go here to learn your way around and get up to speed.WELCOME! ..... to TN :) :) :) .....START HERE!
You have identified the model used in the pic, so that's a good enough reason to flag someone.
I won't argue that it's good enough for a flag, but I don't personally know that that particular member  is NOT Denise Milani either. There's been nothing in her posts on the forums, in groups, or in her profile that would suggest either way.

    Denise Milani is 29.
SaraVirgin claims to be 20 (come on folks that is NOT the face of a 20 year old)
Denise Millani lives in L.A. SaraVirgin claims to live in NYC.
That alone, not enough. "Those people" ( I hate the phrase, but it's apropo here ) tend to have more than one residence.
Yes, but as I said, it's usually a combination of the things I listed.
With that, I'll agree. Any one, or two, not enough, BUT three or more ( and others ) and it becomes questionable at best. Since the flagging system purports to be ( and may well actually be ) merely calling into question the validity of certain claims, I'll agree that this person ( even though she is on my "friends" list ) is worthy of having the question called. It's been said that I'm slower than most to condemn, but once the decision is made, there is no recourse. That much is quite true.

Most of us don't know who is fake.  Most of us don't bother with Tineye nor know the models.
Certification is a step in the right direction proving that the person is who he/she says he/she is.  However some people never get certified because they don't have anybody to take the picture for them, and they don't have a tripod with self-timer.  It is kind of awkward top ask somebody to take a nude photo of him/her, especially if he/she keeps it a secret that he/she is a nudist.
Rabbitnbunny has posted a good list of identifying who is of suspect; however it isn't enough evidence to say they are a fake, unless Tineye so identifies them.

The first thing that waves a red flag in front of me  and please understand that this isMYopinion & mine only)
opinion & mine only)
That's certainly fair.
is when someone states they have been a nudist for 0 years (why would you even bother coming to a site for nudists/naturists when you have not encompassed/enjoyed nor lived the lifestyle),
As someplace to start, to try and find information. That's how I found the site, looking for the resorts that certainly must exist somewhere near me ( and ultimately found ) when the publicity for such places is near none elsewhere.
and secondly have no TRUENUDIST pics only clothed ones. I do know and appreciate that there are some of us  here that are involved in careers where posting a naked pic would not be appropriate, however, to gain or earn some form of credentials as an honest, non fake personna one would need to at least post one pic of themselves in a true nudist form of attire.....
I would submit ( and do accept ) certification in leiu of such, or reasonable inteligent conversation consistent with a true newbie.
AND this can be done tastefully, in such a way that there would not be repercussions from anyone.
Perhaps not. In some outfits, corporations, companies, merely being publicly associated with a site such as this one could be enough to be a real problem.
to gain or earn some form of credentials as an honest, non fake personna one would need to at least post one pic of themselves in a true nudist form of attire.....AND this can be done tastefully, in such a way that there would not be repercussions from anyone.
Hmmm....... Methinks ( and it's my opinion alone ) that some alternative way to establish credibility, and purpose in being here, is possible. As above, the true newbie seeking information and/or advice works for me, until shown otherwise for that individual.
One other thing that kinda makes me balk about the honesty of ones profile is the on screen name they select...
Yeah, that's typically the FIRST flag for me. By no means conclusive, but certainly one of a list of criterea. At a minimum causes me to look much more closely at other characteristics.
Just my 2c's worth.
Nah, worth at least a dollar !  :)

They do not *confirm* SaraVirgin is a fake, nor do they even confirm that Saravirgin is in fact NOT actually Denise Milani ! I personally have no concrete evidence either way. It all does tend to suggest that Saravirgin is perhaps not genuine, but it's not proof, nor confirmation of anything. Saravirgin ( for whatever reason ) may simply be a nome de plume for Denise Milani. I have my doubts, but it could be.
Curt, we did establish that Denise Milani and SaraVirgin live on opposite sides of the continent, and have different ages.  Pretty big red flag there.
The age thing I do buy. In conjunction with other factors, ( who suggested several on a list was indicative ? ) although I'm not convinced that Denise Milani ( being Denise Melani ) wouldn't have residences on both coasts. More telling to me, is a total lack of response on this matter from the person in question, either way. I'll concede a preponderance of evidence is mounting, though not yet sufficient for me to *conclude* either way. I'd give it about 65/45 not real at this point.

If I cared whether she is real, I might ask her about the model without pointing out that you think there is even a remote chance that her pictures could be fake.   One more thing...if SaraVirgin is really Denise Melani, I would think she would have no trouble finding a way to get certified as a True Nudist.

I'm certified and took my pictures with a webcam. The webcams are so cheap that you would think everyone would have one now but for those who don't they could probably buy one for under $30US. I don't believe that your certified pictures are posted unless you post them yourself. So someone could have pictures in their clothes on their profile and still be certified. Certification may not keep all the fakes out but it would help a great deal. Anyway that's my thoughts on the subject.
No to the above - not all of us have cameras with remote controls or people we can ask to take nude photos. I tried using my phone and submitted these but they were not accepted presumably as the quality was not up to spec. If I can get away on a naturist holiday later this year then it may be sorted, but until then I don't see any way of me being able to do certified photos.
Don't worry about it Mr Wirral, you don't need to get certified, Your profile and posts say it all.
Hi Hello everyone i am also seeing a hell a lot of fake profiles here more than true nudists so can anyone stand up and make true nudist registration compulsary  for the benefit of the new members and to protect some people
IMHO, certification is not a necessary thing, but there are couple of more things that could be done in order to have the site working better. TT1 being the sole person responsible has of course the ultimate say in it but i'd like following features: 1. All non-certified profiles not logged in last 3 months (or 6 months) deleted automatically. It would take off large amount of profiles that hang on the site uselessly, thus reducing number of registered users somewhat closer to reality but definitely making life easier for active users. 2. Availability of features according to level: for instance all features of the site available to certified members only, then those who have posted pictures (nude or not) have some other features available and those without pics nor certification have least features available. Forum should be available to everyone, but chat, profile searches and seeing pics on profiles and member lists of certain groups could be somewhat limited. That would be positive incentive to upgrade to sending pics in first place and ultimately becoming a certified member. Nowadays there is not enough incentive to get certified so not many bother with it. 3. I happen to pop into clear fakes every once in a while but never flagged anyone for number of reasons. Posting pics of other people and faking one's gender are nevertheless reasons that I think should lead to immediate expel from the site - just been too lazy myself to make any issue of it knowing that same happens all the time everywhere and everyone is ultimately responsible for their own behaviour. In an exchange always fairly soon the serious fakes come out fairly easily. Recently an active person on the site asked our photos by mail. We sent some low-quality pics and when there was response that "pics didn't come through, send other pics" after same pics had been send from 2 different addresses and pics were not anyhow corrupted, it was time to conclude that whatever reasons, that person would not continue to be among people we correspond with further on. Still didn't flag that person, though. Sick desire for pics without sending one's own back is not a reason to exclude someone from site especially as exchange didn't take place through the site, it is just a reason not to communicate any more. Having had problems in the past myself, I know that illness or injury can strike at any time, so my alteration would be instead of deleting them completely put them take them off-line and put them on hold.  So that they can be ressurected if and when the person resurfaces.  It was well before the age of internet but I was hospitalised for 3 months after an accident, and the bloke in the bed next to me had broken both legs (both tib & fib) and was expected to be in for atleast 6 months. As for fake or not - well I have been served a breakfast sandwich on many occcasions by an ex pro footballer named Bobby Hope.  Also there is a man who turns up at our local County Cricket Ground named Gary Shaw (yes the one who scored goals for Villa).  Thesed folks do continue to live in the "Real" World after their public careers finish.  So they are not all necessarilly fakes.
