We know that there are many Muslims who hate Christians and hate Jews. There are many so called "good" Muslims who say they don't hate Christians or Jews but they still follow a religion that teaches it is right and noble to kill Christians and Jews. I would like to know of one "good" Muslim who publicly criticized radical Muslims for acts of violence against Christians or Jews.

Before you criticize this post, please name that one individual. Please be specific; say who it is, what they said and when and where they said it.
A quick search on the internet, using,  Muslims condemn violence, Muslims condemn violence against Jews.... Against Christians , turned up volumes of articles. One in particular from Religion Dispatches, suggests that opposition from Muslims might not be heard by the western world, because a majority of Muslims, communicate,  in non European languages. The Pew Research Center study, shows that 81% of the Muslims in the US condemn violence against civilians in any way and 71% globally. Be a man so blind, as he who will not see.

If we are looking at religious fanaticism, one only needs to look to the conflict in Ireland... Christians, killing Christians.

All of this stems directly from the imperfection of man.  That's why Jesus' simple rule, if applied to all situations, would make this a better place.  Love they neighbor.  Modern translation:  get along.  Be nice to everyone no matter what their differences.  Accept diversity of all kinds.  If we all did this, the world would be a much better place.

These figures are very frightening indeed. In the Us it means 19% of 2.6 million which is 494,000 and Worldwide 29 % of 1.6 billion which is 464 million.

In total that is 464,494,000 potentially dangerous fanatics.

It happens around the world everyday. Do you condemn your government for it, did you fight in a war, where a great many innocent  civilians died?  We are all guilty of "turning a blind eye", but are we bad people? Singling out all Muslims for somes  bad behaviour is wrong.

I really would love to show this post to our company's comptroller. She is a Muslim, born in North Africa who is married to a man  born in Europe to a Jewish/Catholic set of parents. I can't show her the post this week since she and her husband went to Israel on vacation. He felt going to Yad Vashem was the proper way to honor his (great?) grandparents who were murdered by Christians during the Holocaust.

It is so incredible that to you only Muslims hate/kill Jews and Christians. Have not Christians been solely responsible for pogroms and the Holocaust? Historically, more Christians have been responsible for killing Jews then Muslims. My intent here is not to cast  blame at Christians for the past, but to illustrate how your condemnation of Islam is factually incorrect.

Your world view is sadly lacking. Even if you read our local newspaper,NEWSDAY,you would see that Imans from the mosques in our area have spoken against violence and hatred. They frequently are involved non-demotional prayer and social meetings with local churches, temples, and synagogues to promote greater inter-religious freedom, understanding, and acceptance.

Hitler was responsible for the Holocaust, and Christianity was on his target list as well; he was secularist-very Anti-Christian and he planned to remove Christianity from Germany.
The sad thing about the Muslim situation is that there have not been leaders and groups that have achieved a high profile to counter the radicals.

One doesn't "achieve" a high profile, one is given it by the media.

No Muslim leader has been given such a national platform to speak against violence. Such gestures aren't even welcome. Twice, when former Iranian president Ahmadinejad was in New York visiting the United Nations, he asked to go the few blocks to the World Trade center to lay a wreath in memory of the 9/11 victims, and was refused. No, he's not a nice guy and I'm not defending his policies or the bizarre-ness of some of his attitudes, but why would wenotlet a powerful Muslim leader make a gesture in rejection of terrorist violence?

There have been as many christian radicals as muslims, and they have committed as many crimes.  They misread and misinterpret the message.  Criticizing muslims is not a "christian" philosophy.  It's just bigotry.
