I was wondering if there is a notification alert for updates in the forum?

    Not that I can find. Facebook has several great things I wish was on this site.

    Not a notification but I recommend bookmarking the "Recent Posts" page.

    You can also do a web search for forums you want to stay with.  I search for my tag line to remind of threads I've posted to.  It's not perfect, but it helps.

    This works in google:  site:truenudists.com/forum john AKA cobeachbum
