"Nudism Needs your support Today, May 4th.span /span
"Things have been happening out here and today we were on the
front page of the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel promoting our World Naked
Gardening party on May 8th.span /spanThe story
was very positive and well written and should show good support for
nudism.

"But now they are making our story the daily poll on the
internet but slightly twisted.span /spanThey are
asking if people would be offended by seeing their neighbor garden in the
nude. That's not our intention, but still,
the poll is about 60% in favor of not being offended.

"If you understand we don't want our neighbors seeing us
nude, EVER, please go to the link below and vote NO to the poll on the lower
right side of the page, and tell all your nudist friendly contacts to do the
same.

Lets show the world there is support for nudism in
the US. It could really make a
difference in the way we all are perceived as nudists.

Last I looked we were up to 84% No and 16% yes. Are we 'fixing' this poll, I don't think so because I'm sure there is a fanatic puritan against nudism that is trying to get all thier fanatical friends to vote Yes. So it's like politics, we have to politic amongst our supporters, in this case other nudists, to show that there is a much greater number of nudists in this world than a lot of people think. And by all of us showing our support we show that we are a large group that should not be ignored. And if we let the vote end up Yes, it would just confirm the naysayers statements that we are a bunch of nuts from California, as if it matters where we are from. I didn't necessarily mean to be derogatory. When I speak to friends about nudity, though, their final comment is usually, "I am just a prude."
