If you are on a nudebeach you only wear your birthdaysuit, but what do you wear when you are traveling to the beach. And what do you wear if you leave the beach.

Please tell us....

Usually gym shorts and flip flops. Never a shirt. Surprises me that most men wear a shirt and many have underwear under their shorts. Why wear more than you have to if.l you are going to take it all off soon?

It depends on the beach. Some nude beaches are reached through a textile area or beach. Then I wear a wrap - something flimsy round my waist. And if the beach is nude only with its own paring area:- why wear anything!? And I drive naked, especially when going to or from a nudist beach.

On a recent holiday I either wore shirt and shorts for the bus ride or walked naked from the hotel to the beach, depending on which beach I was visiting.

I have seen a few men wrap a towel around their waist and start walking back to the parking lot apparently with no clothing in their possession.

Shorts and flip flops only. This week I tried out a sheer pair of shorts. If youre close you can see through them but at a distance they appear to be black running shorts. That was something new and fun.

I wear also as less as possible. A few years ago I went to Crete for hollidays and wear only a short walking to the beach and when leaving the beach I stay as long as possible naked and walk naked back to the hotel over the beach where the most people wear badingsuits. I only used a towel around my waist to cross a road and entering my hotel.

Depends on location and how long I plan to stay. . Sometimes shorts and maybe tee shirt, sometimes just a pareau (doubles as cloth to lay on). A couple of places my clothes stayed locked in the car, that was very nice. Usually a backpack or tote.

I usually drive to the nude beach nude but slip on gym shorts when paying and going through the gate. I always wear a T-shirt when driving since I dont like the seatbelt strap on my bare chest. Ill then wear the gym shorts commando to my spot in the beach and disrobe there. Same on the way back.

Whatever I'd normally wear. Though I usually go sockles when possible. Usually shorts and a tank top with a button up shirt.

The clothes also work as a pillow!

Most any of my naked days I have shorts, shirt and shoes/socks or flops to start. Go to quickie Mart for travel snacks, then get free for the travel. Most places I go require shorts to traverse the gate or parking lot. Then free when able. I have a backpack for water snacks, and a towel so my shorts go in there when not used. Then the reverse for the travel home. Sometimes there is a stop at a grab n go place. When by the drive thru window I do a courtesy cover as they can see into my vehicle. (When I was in a truck it was no problem.) Sometimes I find a nice spot for my snacks before I continue. Single travel most of the time, but I have had a friend join a few times.

If I have to wear something then it's shorts only and shoes if the require to wear something from car to beach. If I have to stop somewhere going or leaving beach, then tank top, shorts, socks, and shoes... but I prefer to wear nothing at all.

I leave the car park wearing just beach shorts, commando, and thongs (flip-flops). There is a short walk to the beach past a restaurant and the SLSC. The first part of the beach is not clothing optional, so the shorts stay on. When I reach the demarcation sign I stop to remove my shorts. I walk the water's edge where the sand in firm and cool, as the main beach can be too hot for bare feet during the summer. When leaving the beach at the end of a great day I am naked until I reach the sign, where the shorts (reluctantly) go back on.

We were visiting my brother in law in Australia last February and we took them to a rather nice restaurant. There was a sign near the entrance that said men wearing thongs were allowed in the bar, but not the dining room. Since thongs in the US generally refer to swimwear or underwear, I was puzzled. Or nephew explained that in Australia thongs generally mean what we call flip-flops.

Surprised so many wear a shirt.
Would any of you share why?

In the UK "thongs" were worn by women like a cheese wire between the bum cheeks lol.

I usually wear just shorts, commando of course, and sandals to the beach and I like staying as naked as possible so I just wrap a towel around me to walk back.

We used to have to carry backpacks. Down to San Onfre in California. But yes once you hit that sign off game the shorts. But ahhh when you had to go back to that sign When youre leaving and you had to put your clothes back on. I would resist as long as I could. But then all day in the sun I guess it was a good day. Cant wait to be that way all the time. Hoping to retire this year

When driving to the beach after work I would strip naked while driving there. I usually have a state parking pass so when I go to SanOnofre I would just show my pass while driving in and they wave me through so I never have to put something on until I get to the spot to get out of my car. I then put on my swim trunks or gym shorts only. Once I get to a certain spot on the beach I strip naked again which is usually before the nude area because the lifeguards cant see that Im nude. Same thing on the way back. Once I get in to the car if no one is around Ill strip naked again and toss my shorts in the trunk then in the car and drive home. Somewhere along the freeway Ill get dressed.
From the parking lot just gym shorts, hat and flip flops. Off comes the gym shorts once I pass the clothing optional sign and They take up very little space in my gym bag. Why wear more than you have to since you are going to getting naked anyway. Love the freedom of walking naked to the beach and enjoying the warmth of the sun on my naked body.
Just like me except I don't wear a hat.

For me it's the same as a textile beach : t-shirt and swim trunks. This is for two reasons. One, going from hotel room to car to parking area is not clothing optional - at least where I have gone. Two, shirt provides comfort since I am carrying chair, umbrella, backpack with water, towel, sunscreen.
