Barefooter tattoo

Ive had a rough idea of a barefooter tattoo for years. Ive kept some pictures on my phone that I found online over the years. Yet I wanted something original and couldnt quite work it out creatively for a long time. Then a few weekends ago I saw my own footprints in the sand at the beach. Boom! Suddenly it clicked. The next day I showed a sandy footprints picture and explained it to the artist. I explained what I saw and my ideas. 1) all black ink yet shaded. 2) toes must be defined, even and somewhat splayed. 3) Spaced as to show slow walking 4) fit on the back of my lower leg even if the feet have to be a little more closely spaced. In a few minutes he drew his interpretation. I suggested minor tweaks and it was perfect the second time. When he printed the stencil to apply to my leg I saw it was BIG but it was exactly what I didnt know I actually wanted until I saw it. Might be my favorite tatt right now. Im proud of it and hope yall like it too even if youre not a tattoo person.
